Notifications for prayers

Can the app be updated so that prayer requests get a notification? Unless someone looks at the prayer requests are they aware of a new prayer or an update to a prayer. This should be a simple update as the group portion of the app allows for notifications in the chat. This is a needed update. Thanks!

With our new "automatic notifications" feature in the dashboard, this has been fixed!

Nick Marblestone, this new feature has been so helpful. It would be great if notifications had a deep link to take the user either to the new content item (preferred) or at least to the relevant section of the app (fallback). As it is, the user has to know where to go find the content in the app. Deep links to app content was a feature at one point.

This is great feedback James and Chance. We are working on a few solutions for the apps product as a whole which could encapsulate a solve to this problem. Please keep submitting on canny as it helps the team hearing customer feedback!

Chance Strickland gotcha. So once a church member has posted a prayer to the prayer wall you send out a manual notification to the prayer team or to that particular member? Trying to get a sense of how you're using the notification feature for this workaround.
