Freedom in Christ ministry. I don’t understand why the share my app works on IOS But doesn’t work on android. I been in contact with the Tithely for more than moth it seems that the people who work for Tithely don’t know what they are doing. They keep telling you that they are working on it and it should be up and running in two to tree days we been going on back and forth and they keep sending you to different person I don’t understand I was with different company before never had problems with share my app with IOS OR ANDROID. The push notification when you send it goes straight to message it’s a confusing. It needs to be fixed and please you need to have people who can answer the question properly and not to confuse the customer.

Troy.Ferryman (39375): Hi Troy, we just pushed an update out for our back-end which may help with push notification stability on iOS 13 (previous versions of iOS shouldn't have had an issue).

Hi Troy,
I'm sorry that you are experiencing issues with push notifications.
I just tested this on my end with an iPhone running iOS 13 and I sent a scheduled push notifications for 10:05AM (it was 10:01AM when I scheduled it). The notification came through, and when I selected it, it took me into the notification within the app.
Technically, the app should not know the difference between a scheduled notification and an unscheduled one since that is all taken care of on our back-end (not by the app).
If you are able to replicate this on your end, can you please share the exact steps for sending the notification and also for how you are opening the app from the notification? I realize that these steps may seem obvious, but it might help reveal something to us.
Sorry again about the issue!
John

John Holtkamp: Still experiencing issues with push notifications in general. I sent both a scheduled and a non-scheduled on Friday night. I have ALL my notifications on (lock screen, notification center, banners, sounds and badges). Nothing is turned off. Running IOS 13.1.3 on an Iphone XR. When I send them they don't always show up in all the normal ways. Friday, a scheduled one was sent. Logged into my phone and the full message was up on my phone. Not the notification. Rather it went right to the message. Only the title was there with no text. I then went and deleted the push message from our inbox and sent a new (non-scheduled) message. Again, no notification on the lock screen or banner, but when opening the app it did take me directly to the full message in the inbox. The title and text were there.
Sent a message this morning. Regular (non-scheduled). Left my phone in locked state. No notification came up on the lock screen, nothing in the notification center. There was no badge identification on the app button. I did not filter the message to a specific group. And I am signed up for all the specific groups.
Also, another IOS user who is using a later model Iphone but on 13.1.3 got a different result. There was a lock screen notification. When the message was selected it took her to the app but not the full message in the inbox. So, she had to manually navigate to the inbox. There is definitely a problem with IOS push notifications in general. I am unable to test much more because I don't want to send test messages in a demo environment.
