Welcome to another ChMS Release Notes!

It's been a while since we published a new set of release notes unfortunately, as we've been working on some new features that we hope to have out soon!

We've been doing a lot of working lately on a new feature that we're calling Member Needs, which will allow churches to organise for Members to help out the church complete tasks as needed. These could range from simple things such as "We need someone to mow the grass" or "Can someone please cook meals for this person" - While we had hoped to have this released by the start of June, a few technical issues with it have come up which has delayed the release unfortunately but it should be out in a few weeks time!

Beta Improvements

To start off with, we've made the following improvements to our existing BETA features:

Added People Category views to the People BETA

New Features

We're pleased to announce the following new features have been released this week!

Added a new "Default Blank Email/SMS" setting under Settings -> Communication, so that you can control what emails say by default now

General Improvements

We've made some general improvements to the system this week, including:

Made improvements to the 2FA verification screen
People Map can now be filtered by People Category

Bug Fixes

In addition to the above news, we also fixed the following bugs:

Fixed an issue with trying to setup a Twitter Sidebar in the Member Area
Fixed an issue with the No Notes report not filtering correctly when selecting a people category
Fixed an issue with email templates not sending from the correct "From" address when users over-ride the default setting
Fixed an issue with Excel Files generated by Apple Numbers not being correctly handled when uploaded
Fixed an issue with the automated group attendance reports not sending for specific accounts
