Grid Layouts Are Here!

We launched our new Grid Layouts across iOS and Android. We have supported grids in the past for designing menus, but now you can integrate content like blogs, events, podcast, and videos and display them as highly customizable grids.

Along with adding grid layouts, some other changes include:

Android

UPDATE - overhauled navigation to significantly decrease memory usage.
UPDATE - the floating give button is now more customizable (for when it is or isn't shown).
UPDATE - added a loading indicator to pagelayouts for devices with bad network connections.
UPDATE - touched up the way that podcast details look.
FIXED - the save and email buttons in sermon notes will now not respond to touches when hidden (when keyboard is open).
FIXED - pagelayouts now correctly display the text size when it is set to be something other than default.
FIXED - corrected an issue with large navbar logos which could cause them to format strangely.

iOS

UPDATE - iOS - changes the way the email form handles buttons to account for iOS 13 (which was making the cancel button invisible).
UPDATE - iOS - improved the reliability of swapping icons in all scenarios.
FIXED - iOS - handles colors better in pagelayouts
FIXED - iOS - corrected a small bug with Featured Layouts when a feed is connected that has bad data.
FIXED - iOS - corrected an issue with loading sermon notes from podcast details.
FIXED - iOS - added stability for popup alerts on iOS 13.
FIXED - iOS - will now pause audio when you receive a phone call.
FIXED - iOS - the tab bar has been optimized on iPad for when the mini-player is displayed.
FIXED - iOS - the app does a better job accounting for the tab bar when displaying websites.
FIXED - iOS - corrected an issue where the newsfeed could act strangely if there were very few posts in it (very rare issue).
FIXED - iOS - the Notification Settings option in Settings has been formatted to match the look of the rest of the Settings options.
FIXED - iOS - the newsfeed banner loads much more smoothly on iPad.
FIXED - iOS - adds stability for detecting sermon notes within podcasts.

Android and iOS

UPDATED - iOS/Android - you can now easily share blog posts.
UPDATED - iOS/Android - added support for new live stream link format for YouTube live streams.
UPDATED - iOS/Android - the native Bible will now return to the last place that you read the next time you open it.
