It would be quite helpful for guests who have registered to attend an event, to have the ability to directly cancel their ticket(s) if needed, and for the cancellation to then open up that number of tickets for availability. Perhaps a cancellation button on the ticket confirmation email?

This is not something currently on our roadmap, but it is indeed possible and it is something we likely will consider since it's so highly requested.
If anything changes on this, I will update that here.
