Thank you for your feedback. Our team has reviewed this request and determined that it will not be on the Elvanto roadmap in the near future as it does not align with our current product goals.

I agree I wish there was an easier and more presentable way, but we were able to make this comprehensive report that works pretty well: https://mtzionlutheran.elvanto.net/report/?id=66e525d9-6217-4206-9fe7-931df9100516&authkey=HDNavK85

Hey Kevin,
How would having a calendar view be more useful than the table view that the Volunteer Positions report can provide?
My biggest concern here would be the fact that most churches would have ~5 days per week being empty, and then a massive number of entries on the weekends.

Stewart Polley: I did not realize you had a table view on the reports... I will look and see. But the initial thought would be for churches that do more than just Sunday morning. Having other groups, and ministries that meet other than Sunday having them show-up during a monthly view calendar too. We as a church have been doing a month at a glance dry erase board to show every position in the church and the dates along the top and people scheduled for several months out. So that we can see where holes are - and it gives the other volunteers a chance to see that "I am not the only one serving." We want to move away from having to have so many "other" systems in place or redundancy systems - If I could build the "teams" and roster them - but it shows on a month at a time sure would be a big time saver - so then we don't have to also go out with a dry erase board and copy all of that again to a Month at a Glance board - if the system could just give us a sheet and i could post it. If there is the ability to do multiple months even better.
Just extra information. The way our culture is here, we value faithfulness and teach commitment as a godly trait - so when it comes to membership - it is part of our process to training fully devoted followers of Christ to serve. When they sign up they know it is a 4 month commitment to the area they choose. At the end of the time they can move - but they need to learn to stick it out. Our "Core" group commit to 6 months and our Executive Core commit to 12 months - however here comes work schedule conflicts, vacations, etc - so once again having a month view that we can edit on the fly will show us cracks / holes in the coverage much easier.
That was the long answer :)

I generated a report but cant see how to make it a table?
Stewart Polley
Kevin Winkler: Thanks for that reply. I'll think on it and see how many other people vote for it.
