There should also be the options to do reoccurring transactions to ,multiple funds. Currently that doesn't happen.

Transaction fee charged for each fund given to

A contributor who gives multiple funds is charged for each fund they give to as a separate transaction... it shows as one lump sum giving amount when giving it on tithely, but as separate charges when coming out of the account. Can there be only one transaction fee when people give to multiple funds at the same time. Our previous giving platform showed multiple fund giving as one transaction in a person's bank account and there was not separate transaction fees.

We also have several members asking for this option. We love the thithe.ly platform but this needs to be addressed asap. Many members love the clean look and style of the platform, but hate having to pay several fees.

Adjust the fee calculation system so that only one 30 cent fee is paid for the processing of donations in a multi gift type single giving session? Each giving session should count as a single transaction with one 30 cent fee, not as multiple transactions just because of the presence of donations to different gift types

It's GREAT news that one credit card charge is in the works for giving using multiple categories. Thank you Tithe.ly for listening to the feedback!

@Adam Barry: It's now been 6+ months that this has been planned. Is it done and just not marked, or is there an appx time frame?
Adam Barry
@Bridgett Neto: We plan on having an update to address this in late Q1 2020. Some things are being done to lay the groundwork for this to happen.

@Adam Barry: It is now almost Q2 of 2020. Is there any progress on this feature?
Adam Barry
@Karyn Wayman: things are taking a bit longer than expected but progress is happening. There are still some additional groundwork items that are being finished up to allow for this feature to be built out.

@Adam Barry: thanks!

@Adam Barry: now that so many of our members are having to give online because of our inability to meet as a congregation, I'm having a very difficult time explaining the login requirement and then the add gift or split transaction since it doesn't have the words unless you happen to scroll your mouse over the grayed out + sign. I've seen you say that there is still some additional groundwork but can you let us know which aspects of these requests are actually in the works and how quickly you can get them updated? are they changing the requirement to be logged in as well as making the words static with an explanation icon like you have for the cover fees option? are you moving it to the top so it's more obvious to donors? are you adding a confirm total amount at the bottom before submit? are you changing the processing to one transaction fee regardless of the designation of funds? This is a highly unusual time we're in right now so the easier we can make online giving the better it is for our church to maintain it's financial stability. Thanks for any specific updates you can give us.
Adam Barry
@Krista Corcoran: There's a lot of good things in the works! Unfortunately, I cannot provide the exact details that you are requesting at this time. I can say that there most likely won't be any user facing changes for the giving app or web giving form for at least a month or more. We'll be sure to update posts with changes in status as those statuses change and post in our Changelog as we roll out any updates to the public.

@Adam Barry: Where are we up to with this. It is one of if not the highest rated request but is still sitting in planned for 2 years. This is core product & reason I do not push paying through platform as much to congregation & let them use other app/online methods we provide.

Completely agree. Can't be hard to have each Giving Type to be selected in a checkbox and an amount for each with a total at the bottom which is the final Credit Card transaction.

This issue is also causing some of our members not to use Tithe,ly because they can not choose multiple categories in one transaction. Is there any plans to fix this?
Adam Barry
@Michael Weaver: donors can make make up to 4 gifts when logged in. We'll look into improving the experience in future updates.

Single Credit card transaction for multiple gift categories

Are there any future planning to changing the negative fact that individuals are charges separate transactions when wanting to give to more than one category in one transaction? My church is new to Tithe.ly and this issue has already caused some people not to use this method of giving.

yes please!!!

I asked about this and was told that anytime you use the add a gift button it automatically creates two transactions. I was also told there were no plans to change or update this issue.
The only way we have found to make one transaction is to select ONE category then write in the memo line each fund and how much money you want to go in them. For example: Select tithe $100.00. In MEMO line write Tithe $75.00 and Missions $25.00.
However, this could make your statistics inaccurate if you are relying on seeing how much comes into each category.

@Admin Highland Meadows Church: Looks like Tithely have got their giving design wrong. The user should be able to enter the amount given and then (like a set of memos) can then select the categories and the $ split between them (and they must add up to the total given or goes to the Default Giving category)

@Neil Stott: Hopefully Tithe.ly will see that this is an area that needs to be addressed and fix it.
