We made the decision to launch the app without Face ID knowing it would come quickly after. You can expect that feature to be present in the app very soon. Regarding moving to the browser for the donation confirmation screen, that is a constraint placed on us by Apple - it is against app store policies to process donations in app. However, we we did work hard to pull as much of the donation process as possible into the app so that you wouldn't need to move to your browser to set anything up. We will always look for ways to improve that setup process and encourage you to come back here with more feedback as we make updates and changes.
