I wish that you would send the notice in a form that I could print a receipt from the email, without logging onto my account. Please? Maybe as a Christmas present?
Transaction ID on Bank Statement
Currently my bank statement shows only that the deposit came from Tithely, leaving me no way to match up the deposit with the transaction on Tithely. Since these are donations, we receive many donations with the exact same amount; no help in figuring out which deposit goes with which donation. Tithely generates a transaction #; it would be nice if that info was passed along to the bank.
Please keep the 1.0 version
We are a small church and the 1.0 version gives us the reports we need in a format we really like and can use. I can't figure out how to use 2.0 and get the simplified version that I want along with the deposit reports that I need. Please don't get rid of the 1.0 version. I'm still using it even thought I'm getting a message not to and to go to 2.0. Thank you for your help and consideration.
Why is the Transaction ID in version 2.0 is so long? This is very difficult to identify the specific line item from the report.
Missionary Login to Their Account
Tithely to provide access for our missionaries to be able to login to their accounts to see the donations from their direct links that came in. This helps them know who their donors are, send thank you letters, and know how much they have raised to help support them in the field. EXAMPLE the Richardson's work as missionaries with CRI. The funds get deposited into the CRI account but gets applied to the Richardson's Missionary Account. If the Richardson's had an area they could login to and see who, how much and how often someone was donating, it would help them know how much more to raise for their monthly support.
Missionary Direct Link
For Tithely to be able to provide a direct link for missionaries to provide to their donors. This would allow the churches bookkeeper in the reporting area to see and apply to the missionary whom the donation belongs to. The link would serve the purpose of the dropdown. This also allows for less funds to be listed in the management fund area/dropdown. People do not like to scroll through lots of funds to pick the appropriate one. They like simple and easy.
Bank ACH debit advice should show Statement Descriptor
On our first test of Tithe.ly , the bank showed the transaction as " TITHE.LY TITHE.LY " The bank should receive the Statement Descriptor in our Church settings.
Make Covered Fees Yes/No Field in Transactions
I am looking at the NEW Reports. Comparing the column listed as "Covered Fees" there are 2 different identifying conventions used (Yes or No on the Giving Statement and true or false on the new Reports). This is confusing. Can there just be one way of identifying if the donor is covering the fee or the church within Tithe.ly ?
More Efficient Admin Batch Giving
Even when Admin Batch Giving is responding quickly, it is more time-consuming than this simple data entry task should be: Donor Information - it's good it has memory and pulls up the giver, but the need for the fields to enter information for new givers is not necessary for the majority of my entries. I've used systems where all entries for a donation are on one line and things move very quickly. Is there a way to direct us to the additional input only when the system doesn't recognize the person? Donations Details: Credit Card/Check/Etc - it would be great if it repeated the last type of entry because I generally only do manual entry for gifts by check, and selecting that from the drop down for each separate entry is inefficient. Giving Type/Fund - I'd like to be able to sort funds since most entries are from the same 1-3 funds but the dropdown list contains many more and that's also time-consuming to scroll down to find the correct one. Gift Date - also, if you could retain the date from the last entry until I choose to change it that would be faster. Often you are entering a batch of donations that all have the same date and clicking open the calendar each time is annoying.
CSV Download - format Gross, Fees & Net to currency with 2 decimals
I would like to request a change to the CSV file download from the Bank Deposit Report. Would you please consider changing the format for the following fields to a currency format 0.00 with 2 decimal place. (Gross, Fees and Net) This would make the download report much more user friendly and uniform. Thank you for your consideration!
