We would like to be able to import transactions from a CSV or Excel. This will allow for simpler accounting if we switched platforms mid year or use another system to handle cash/check entries.

Hi there. It would great to see a feature where we can upload an excel sheet or CSV onto tithe.ly for recurring donors and not having to manually key that in one at a time. Thanks.

The program is capable of exporting donors' giving data to a CSV file. However, for some reason, it is not capable of importing this type of information. It would be extremely helpful for any potential client or new client who would like to transition from a different giving platform to be able to import their donors' giving information easily rather than having to manually enter it all.

I've been searching through the Help topics and asked a team member about this today. The ability to import a .csv file with previous donors to move platforms into one would be a HUGE help PLUS the ability to add in cash / checks. If this is available in ChMS, is it not just a "push of a button" to allow it on Giving?

Ryan Burtch: Not currently. Importing transactions (among other things) is supported in our ChMS product currently. If you do not already have a Church Management solution, I highly recommend you check it out.

Need Batch Upload from Excel file for the Manual Cash/Check Entries

Would like to simply upload our excel file of all the donors that gave at church. The file would be a simple excel spreadsheet that we fill with the same data points that you are asking for in the current manual entry interface. Reasoning is that we are filling out the excel file regardless, and to have to re-type all the info into that interface again is currently not feasible. Seems a batch upload interface would be a much easier task for you than for us to sustain double the work. Just my 2 pennies. Thanks for listening.

It would be super useful if the batch admin import functionality allowed for a .csv file as input rather than needing to manually enter in the batch giving form
