Make you Choose the Fund OR Pick a Default Fund

Specifically in the admin batch giving it would be nice to either be forced to pick a giving type OR to be able to pick a default giving type as a preference so that the default type could be selected as the General Offering. This could avoid donations being accidentally marked for the wrong giving type just because the last time the person gave was for that other giving type.

It would be nice if Tithe.Ly forced the user to select something from the dropdown. Right now the users dont always pay attention or realize it is a dropdown so we are having people giving to the wrong account because they just leave it at the default that comes in. Id like to see the dropdown a mandatory field where they are prompted to select something.

It would be great if you would put "Please Choose:" instead of "To:" in front of the giving option dropdown. Our members are not seeing that they have the ability to choose two different options when they go to the form. Thanks!

To have the possibility to not have to choose a default fund , but instead have the option (button) say, Choose a fund. Reason being that some users have not checked the designated fund and intended to give to another fund.

I need be able to have "Please Choose" show as the giving page opens, not the default. So that the givers will tap and see the different designations they can choose. The default doesn't control the fund seen first by the way. It's the order that determines what the givers will see first in the drop window. I would also like to be able to delete a fund.

There needs to be an option for the auto fund that shows up in the 'Give to:' field to simply say 'please choose'. We are having issues with people seeing just the first name listed and not realizing that they can drop down the menu for more names. We created a 'please choose' fund for now to be sure it show up at the top, but this is not a long term solution.

Hi Todd Madden! I've added you as a voter to a similar post regarding the "Please choose". As for deleting funds, there are many implications when it comes to this. As the result, we have decided that archiving is a better option to maintain data integrity. There should be an option to select the default for the giving option to "Please Choose" rather than to a specific giving type. This way people will be forced to choose where they want their donation to go.
