Need to do better at Donor Matching in ChMS

I was told that in order for donors to match between Tithely and CCB that CCB must match Tithely however when donors set up their giving in Tithely they are lackadaisical and do not use proper address formatting (mix of Cap/lower case letters). It might be helpful if the development team could write some code to be able to match donors either by address, or email, or phone, or ChMS donor ID as this would solve all problems and allow to retain proper address formatting existing in CCB. It is juvenile to send a giving statement from CCB for example showing –
jane doe
123 some st (or street)
newport or 12345
Which should be –
Jane Doe
123 Some St (or Street)
Newport OR 12345
And for a merchant interface (Tithely) to accept a phone number of “4444444444” over the actual correct phone number in the donors ChMS (CCB) profile doesn’t make sense.
Professionalism matters, and the generations are getting lackadaisical with information and formatting so it would be great if the platforms could work together rather than the incorrect (Tithely) dominate over the correct (ChMS).

This is true when a member uses their full legal name as shown on their credit card but we only know them by the name they gave us on a connection card. For example we have a member we have always known as Chuck but his legal name is Charles so tithe.ly didn’t match his records and created a new one when he gave online. When I catch them, I add their legal name to their record and make their common name as we know them their preferred name but I too wish it would match more than one piece of information before creating duplicate records.

Improving this would also eliminate duplicates in my ChMS because the way that our church member entered their information into Tithe.ly didn't match perfectly with how it is entered in our ChMS.
