When creating events on our website, we currently have various events that only require a starting time. Currently, there are requirements to include an end time which causes confusion to our guests that suggests they can participate anytime between the starting and ending time. As I understand this may not be an issue for other communities, we serve in an area and culture where this is a common understanding. When inviting guests, we have found success by simply advertising a start time which encourages on time attendance eliminating an "open house" mindset. As I tried to simply eliminate the time feature all together and include the time at the beginning of the description, this also could not be done. Granted, sometimes the end time feature is helpful, it should not be mandatory. Efforts to help accommodate to cultural differences would be helpful for our organization and community. Thank you for your consideration.
