Modernize Tithe.ly Sites design

Tithe.ly Sites has amazing built in functionality that is super useful for the vast majority of churches. I think the only thing that holds it back somewhat is a more "dated" look and feel of the website design. I'm not a web developer at all, but the completed versions of Tithe.ly sites feel at least 4-5 years behind modern web pages. For example, this premium Wordpress theme for churches just looks very different http://deeptem.com/church/

I'd add to this the ability to drag and crop images. The crop focus button system just plain stinks. Sometimes you just need a minor adjustment to the image.

Still waiting on some pretty common CMS features. :(

Several month's have passed. Any update on when we should expect the new site themes?

Sites Needs a Lot of Work

I've been using Tithe.ly Give for a while and I love it. I love it so much that when Tithe.ly announced the new services like ChMS, Messaging, and others I jumped in with both feet. I have to be honest though I'm not a fan of Sites. I recently converted from Cloversites to Churchspring, and now planning to convert to Tithe.ly Sites for the functionality of ChMS and the other integrated services. Comparing Sites with Cloversites or Churchspring though leaves me disappointed. Both Cloversites and Churchspring have great looking templates for sites that are easy to use and edit, but they lack functionality. So far Sites seems to have the functionality, but it lacks the look and feel of modern websites. Please look at doing some major work with Sites. If you can combine the look of CMS services like Squarespace, Cloversites, or Churchspring with the services you provide I think you'll grow exponentially.

Hi Jason Wilder and Jim Becker, want you to know that we are in agreement and are working on current plans to update and enhance the design of Sites.

Matt Morrison: Havent gotten a reply to other requests for updates, so trying again here. :-)
You all were working on a few enhancements in June to Sites to improve blocks, etc. Is there an ETA on those enhancements?

Sites feedback, FWIW.
I find myself criticizing Tithely Sites a good bit because sooooo much basic functionality is not there, like the ability to create true recurring events and the ability to duplicate blocks, and because shortcomings like a lack of more dynamic “curb appeal” / visual esthetics that should have been a part of Sites from the beginning.
Then I snap back into the world of fairness and reality and think, for a fairly new product, and their newest product, Sites is an EXCELLENT product. Really!!
Ease of use is literally 2nd to none. I’ve tried about every church website product there is over the past 18 months, and I can honestly say that Tithely Sites is an extremely great value for the price and the most user-friendly product of its kind, especially given the amount of features it already has. I think any church that gives Sites a try would find that, overall, it’s the best value on the market, period.
My only hope is that Sites gets the attention it needs in the months to come. I didn’t see a lot of Sites improvements in the change logs, so I hope this means there are many coming down the pipeline sooner rather than later, and that we won’t need to settle for things bare they are now. And I hope that all of the other recent product developments and deployments doesn’t mean we’ll have to wait years for Sites improvements and enhancements to come to fruition.
In any regard, great job Tithely!! You’ve earned a well-deserved kudos for Sites, especially when we objectively review current features, functionality, and price point.
Looking forward to Sites 2.0, 3.0, etc.
Thank you for an excellent product thus far!
