Push Notifications Linked to Events

It would be really slick if you could create a push notification based on an event. That way all the links, images, and online signup would already be filled in.

Has any progress been made on this feature?
It would be awesome when setting up a calendar event if you could set up the related app push notifications, including their frequency, date/time, and message. For our church, a reminder notification would be really helpful (rather than getting a notification when an event is set up, since we do this in batches). 
These are some examples event notifications I'm thinking of:
"Today is the deadline to pre-register for Vacation Bible School."
"Reminder: Vacation Bible School begins tonight at 6:30pm."

Within the Tithely Church App, please consider allowing updated events to trigger an app notification. This could be user controlled w/in the app.

Thanks for the feedback! We have some exciting things coming with push notifications, and this would be something great to integrate down the road after we launch some of the changes.

We will look into this more once we have launched our planned changes to push notifications.

For clarity, are you asking that whenever an event is added, you receive a notification? Or if an event is edited then you receive one?
