Restore push notifications with app deep linking

Push notification form has a field for adding a link. We used to be able to put a deep link that takes the user to a tab on the app, but now the notification just has a “visit the website” button. A deep link to an app tab now results in “page not found.”

Support says this feature is no longer available. Expected behavior on app push notifications is that tapping on the notification will take the user to relevant content in the app. That would be optimum in Church App. The app’s current bulletin board behavior for push notifications is acceptable if there is the ability to add the deep links available from the App > Tabs admin page to the push notification.

The link button text in the push notification should change to something other than “visit the website” when the link field contains a deep link rather than a website URL. Or add a field in the push notification admin for deep/app links.
