Small Group/ forum messaging

This would be a new feature within the app. It would allow for messaging to and for subgroups within the Church community.
So, for example, there could be a section for small groups for each small group to chat, talk, discuss - what the next study will be, that the group wont be meeting, etc. The "Small Group Forum" could be accessible by anyone with the app, or password protected.
The section could be "open" and generated by any one in the church, or "closed" and only able to be made by Pastors and staff, etc.
Obviously anyone could comment on the forum, and just like the Prayer Wall admin would have right of removal.
If it helps, and you are familiar, think Reddit but for the app. A place for various servants within the community to orchestrate their efforts for the good of the community.

The world is getting more entwined. And the church cannot stay agnostic in this situation. We must make effective use of technology. And, if the creation of new applications helps church communication, I believe it should be embraced. I hope this notion has evolved past the adaption stage. I have a proposal if you haven't already. This not only saves time, but also demonstrates how popular this programme is.

The world is becoming more interconnected. And the church cannot remain neutral in this process. We must put technology to good use. And, if the development of new applications improves communication within the church, I believe it should be welcomed. I hope this concept has progressed beyond the stage of adaptation. If you haven't already, I can make a suggestion - this is minimum viable product template. This will not only save time, but will also show how popular this application is.

The unprecedented demands for mobile devices have pushed religious faiths to build a church app to keep up with the current trend and access a broader audience. In fact, about 47% of American citizens belong to a church. So you run the risk of missing out on more than 120 million potential customers. And that is just the US audience.
Church app development is an excellent decision if church ministers want to stay in touch with parishioners and parishioners want to communicate with each other. The application can inform users about the latest church news and deliver them invitations on events.

Add a Connect/Small/Life Groups System into the App

I'd love to be able to use the app for group listings and sign ups.
As another user suggested a way to engage and interact with those groups through this system as well.
Lastly, and this may need to be another feature request. But in lieu of COVID-19 I think having a groups system that has the ability to do a video meeting would be amazing. *I think it would be utilized outside of COVID as well.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave feedback! I small groups section is definitely something that is on our roadmap. We have a number of other features to develop which are required in order for us to create a robust small groups section. Once we have those items in place we will definitely be creating something that should be inline with what you are wanting.
One thing I cannot guarantee is video chat support. We do not currently have that on our roadmap.

John Holtkamp: This sounds awesome :) Just wondering how the progress is going and when you expect it to be ready? :)
