Currently permissions are assigned to roles and users are assigned to one role. However, in our church people sometimes hold more than one role. For example, if members all need to be granted access to something new we have to also remember to find that same permission in every other role that we have created for our leadership and staff. Another example is our deacons have elevated permissions and views for things like attendance and our finance committee members can view giving details. However, people in both roles have to have yet another role created and managed to grant both sets of permissions instead of just making them part of both the deacon and finance role.
