For a number of years we have enjoyed using Breeze/Tithe.ly for our Children's Ministry check-in system. It is convenient is so many ways, but there is one specific thing that causes an issue every single week.
On Sundays we have multiple options for parents to choose from to checkin their children based on the service/services they will be attending. However, once a child/children are checked in, the screen does NOT reset back to the list of options. Instead, the check-in screen stays on whatever service was last selected. Subsequently, parents, despite a lot of communication to do so, rarely look to verify they are on the screen appropriate for the service(s) they are actually attending. This means our attendance each week is EXTREMELY inaccurate.
Knowing what services are attended is an important part of staffing and planning. Each Monday I have to manually take paper attendance rosters from each class and compare them to Breeze electronic check-in lists and make corrections.
Our previous check-in system, as well as others I have encountered at other churches, automatically go back to the list of check-in options once a child is checked in. It would be a HUGE help to the usefulness of the check-in system if Breeze/Tithe.ly could include this feature.
