Add parents in child's form

It would be great if when registering a child for an event, you could also add/update/link parent's info to their profile (rather than just having this in form custom fields'). Maybe this is best done by beefing up the billing contact (adding relationship to child etc.). Thanks!

I've tried several ways to included parent details in a child registration form using the 'add person' option. No matter how well I explain, highlight in bright colours, etc - most parents still don't seem to be able to understand the way the form works with 'add child'. Being able to reference parent details somehow on a form separately from the childs would be extremely helpful.

It is really annoying that you can only put in a First Name field one time. When I am making a form for VBS registration, I need both parent and child first names. It's hard and time-consuming to have to create a custom field for anything that I need in a form twice.

This isn't currently something we have on our roadmap, but we do watch trending posts on this platform so if this request is upvoted that helps our team understand what our customers really need and want.

Agree, we have child registrations forms and gather the parent information on the form, and then have to manually add parent information into Elvanto. Would save so much time.

For even registration it makes sense to be able to drag/drop all fields as many times as needed.  When creating event registration, I should be able to add parent info and not have to create new custom fields every time I want to add a name, phone, or email.  Also, parent info should be able to be created and only show up once on the form rather than duplicated every time when a parents signs up multiple kids on same registration form.
Adding signature options would be valuable for waivers.
Having a template for child/student event registration so anyone can use that template, and edit minor changes as needed.  For instance most churches do some sort of camp, VBS, or event registration that requires child info, parent info, payment, and potentially a travel waiver.

Thank you for these requests. 
These are both issues I believe would add value to our forms. I don't have a timeline right now, and the electronic signature on forms will probably happen sooner as it's the easier update, but just know these are on my radar! 
I am going to merge this one with the existing request for parent and child forms so that your votes can count together. That seems to be the biggest need you have expressed here.

Sabrina Sherman: I'm trying to set up a form for our summer camp program and am very frustrated that I have to use a ton of custom fields to gather parent and guardian information instead of being able to use people fields that already exist! Hope this change is coming soon.

Link multiple profiles to forms

Currently when registering  children via forms, we can only link the children (on additional pages) and then need to manually update the parents/carers information back & forth between the forms and multiple individual profiles. This is tedious, takes up a lot of admin time and creates a large margin for human error. 
It is also tedious and confusing for the parents to have to add additional children on multiple pages. It slows down the registration time for them and causes them to make more errors that need checking by admin. 
Linking by primary name or by address might be a workaround. 
The same feature would be very useful in many other forms.

Within ChMS Elvanto under Service Reporting and Mass Add People there is a feature to “Add Family”.

Could you please make this feature available:

Within the Guests tab of any Event? So just like in Mass Add people, when you search for someone you can select the individual or "Add Family"
As a field with any Form. So, just like a form can accept multiple submissions. Rather than having to fill out details for the whole family they can simply fill in one person's details then then tick "my family is coming" and it links the whole family to the submission.
