Allow member "view only" permissions for calendars/services etc

To improve usability and linking of information, could the member accesses be adjusted to have "view only" permissions, especially between the "upcoming events" on the calendar and the service itself. They are able to view the information on the roster tab already, it would just streamline the usage of calendars

I agree, it would be good to choose View Only option for specific Calendars in the Admin Area.
EG. Our Staff team can access calendars, which is needed. But we would like them to only 'view only' a specific calendar and go to a designated team member to request an event to be added. Not allow them to access, add or edit.

In the calendar, any service and event is shown - including the “upcoming events” on the member Home Screen.
When members click on this, it only generates a pop up window with the date.
In admin mode, it goes to “services” for editing and you can see all the details.
If the calendar could be linked to the “roster” part of the service in member mode, it would stop many of our people thinking they have been locked out or permissions removed. They are still able to access the roster information by the menu, but often get confused because it doesn’t link
