It would be a real help if we could change the coloring of items in the service plan. With having multiple items in the service plan, it would be helpful to have different things stand out.

Yes, this would be a great addition to service plans. I currently export the service plan as a pdf and then manually change the colours so our Tech Team can see things easier. I highlight in red our slides and videos, and put names in headings as yellow using adobe software.

Agreed. Using this for Children's Ministry with lots of moving parts. It would be very helpful for one volunteer to quickly see their assigned roles by allowing colors in the Service plan. Thanks!

I read Stewart's comments and can see the difference on the screen but we print and use at our service and there is no difference in color for the song and items. Just the headers. It would also be nice to have the headers above the columns when printing such as first column is time, second is duration, third is description. And for the duration to have seconds but not the time would be nice. This is all when printed.

I do think there is much better contrast on the printed document than the planning page!

Stewart Polley: Here you go. No column headers. Seconds in time is hard to read but they would be good in duration because sometimes we have videos and it's good know how long the videos will be at a glance by minutes and seconds. Worship songs are same color background as the other items. The headers are the only ones shaded.

Chris, I've suggested being able to create a numbering/segment system for system plans. eg. PW1, PW2, PR1, AC1 etc. This is mainly to help production team know where in the service we are quickly.

Thanks for posting.
Please understand that I genuinely do want to assist with this, but I am wanting to understand the problem you might be having. 
While I do wear glasses myself, I do know that everyone's eye sight is of course different, but at the same time some of these issues can simply be due to low quality monitors.
Regarding this though, we've attempted to make all three main elements unique and different from each other. 
- Headers are grey, thin bars that do not have the extra options for time/comments etc. 
- Items are white backgrounds, with the extra details shown.
- Songs are blue backgrounds, with the extra details shown. 
Specifically, what do you feel would make this easier to use?

Stewart Polley: Hi there, thanks for the quick address back. Basically not much stands out, design wise - so I am constantly going over things to find where new sections start. It is all very faint and hard to distinguish. Possibly things like the headers (and all elements, really) having bolder colouring. The light grey is so light that it doesn't separate things much, and I find it hard to differentiate where things are.

Stewart Polley: Yes the headers are grey, but very very faint.  Perhaps even a different color on the words, but really if the grey was much darker that would help.
Right now the light blue from the songs and grey from headers blend together.  If headers were darker perhaps the light blue would stand out.

Absolutely agree. This was a main reason I was hesitant to switch over to this program when learning about it.

Yes this would be so useful, at the moment I have to go through and highlight by hand all the songs so they stand out. The plan is too bland in its current format

To be able to tag items like readings and prayers, particularly, to particular people on the volunteer roster would be brilliant too (but that's maybe a different request to be submitted?)
