Display Group Description in Member Area

For a group with a category that is displayed in the member area it would be nice to have the group's description displayed in the member area.
Maybe another Tab besides "Messages" and "Members" that displays the description, meeting date and time, or additional info?
We would like to use this feature for volunteer groups. This way we could display the job tasks, permissions and rules directly there visible for the volunteers.
