We need a way to export the family ID with reports etc.

you have it as an option with any people import process then why not include it with exports?

Family ID sounds like a custom field you're using, no? If so, this access permission won't be in the People area of the access permission like the import option. It will be found under Reports like most other exporting in the system. It sounds like they would need to create a standard report to include Family ID as a export field.
Since this is something we currently offer, and it doesn't sound like a new feature request, I'm going to go ahead and close this. If I have misunderstood, let me know, and I will be happy to reopen it.

When I say family ID I mean the unique identifier that's used in the back end to link people into households/families.
