Definitely looking for more integration with ChMS and Tithely Giving. It's like we own two separate pieces of software. Would love for the People database in Elvanto and the contacts in Tithely to integrate. Would love for the financial piece to actually integrate via the API. Would love for there not to be two separate events features-- one in each. Would love, honestly, for there to simply be one interface that all looks like Tithely.

The current integration has a large number of issues. The import is ugly and basically unworkable. The date formats are all wrong and not regionalised - this is the same for within Giving itself.

Amen to that. My congregation just came onboard and the nightmare of navigation and the variation in the Dashboards (the overall v. the ChMS). Then once you're in the ChMS, no way to get back to the dashboard containing giving. The very nice help Tithe.ly person said, oh, just click the browser back arrow. Whaaaat? You gotta be kidding. The improved integration can't come soon enough.

For integration - please, please have tithely fees integrate to ChMS as its own category and not just merged into its "parent" category.
As a bonus, have the deposit report (whenever that is made in ChMS) exclude the tithely fee category (or perhaps allow another checkbox on chart of account setups for whether to exclude an income account from deposit reports - similar in user interface to the tax deductible checkbox).

Andrew Kischner We are absolutley in agreement. As we speak our teams are currently re-building our ChMS/Giving integration to get it working right. We're also about ready to deploy an integration that allows you to pull your entire ChMS database into our new People tool. Lots more great integrations are on our radar, with a few in the works as we speak.

As someone who currently uses ChMS but NOT Tithely, changing the interface to match Tithely would be challenging. I agree with the idea that there should be integration between the two, though!

Yes. I don't understand why the new messaging feature doesn't integrate with the ChMS. So frustrating.

John Pleasnick: Version 1 will be a 1-way import, but that's just to get that active for our customers ASAP. A bi-directional sync is also in the plans.
