More Printer Options

Dymo printers are poor quality overall.
-Check-in experiences are often the first impression a children's ministry gives to a family. When the system & printers consistently malfunction, it is consistently frustrating.
-They jam easily.
-They do not cut the labels, you must tear them away.
-They consistently do not stay connected to the computers, often to the point of having to just close a self-check-in station most Sundays.
-They require Dymo brand labels only, which are designed to waste multiple labels per roll.

Has anyone heard an update from Elvanto on this? It’s been a year without really hearing anything.

Once again the printers jammed during sign in. Please add more printer options URGENTLY!!!

Hey Julia :)
Thank you for this request. You'll be happy to know that we are currently evaluating our label printing setup and considering what options we have to improve things.
This is an initiative I have for this year for sure, and while I am in the midst of planning what our 2024 is going to look like, we may be doing some more exploration on a solution with customer feedback soon. Would you be interested in meeting with us via Zoom at some point to get feedback on things?
If so, I'll reach out to your email when we're ready for that next step in our planning. Otherwise, thank you for this insight into the existing problem. We hope to provide you with some more permanent solutions soon!

Sabrina Sherman: I’m excited to see this update! We have put nursery check-in on hold until a wireless printing option is available. Our nursery director is urging us to go on a different direction, software wise, to make this happen.
I hope Elvanto can make it happen soon.
Thanks for all you do!

Printer issues WEEKLY!!!

We have issues every single week with the Dymo printers. We are dealing with a large volume of people coming in a short time space and a wider variety of printers would be beneficial so we can find the one that works best for our needs.

Please add other label printing options such as brother in addition to dump. We are new to child check-in as our church is growing, and we’re going to QUICKLY run into budget issues with the cost of dymo forcing us to buy their own branded labels at 4-10x the cost of generic labels. Thanks!

The cost of dymo labels is so ridiculous, especially when I consider how frequently the printer plays up and how many we waste because of it.

Yes additional printer brands to break away from being locked into Dymo label prices is now very needed for churches and their budgets!
Our labels budget has now gone from $0.04ea to about $0.16ea which hurts! For us that's a change from about $350 to $1,250 over the year which is damaging to limited ministry budgets... just because of the printers we are now required to buy!
