People - Option to move Access Permissions to Account & Volunteering tab

I find when setting up a role for a volunteer this takes a little longer - two separate edit and save steps. If the Access Permissions box could be moved to a location where Departments are managed, this would be handy.
Also, this would simplify the main profile of a person. We sometimes move the Access Permissions down further so it isn't awkwardly up with the contact details. This compromises its position as well.

Thank you for your feedback. Our team has reviewed this request and determined that it will not be on the Elvanto roadmap in the near future as it does not align with our current product goals.

Amen.

Related: Can we eliminate the "Volunteer" checkbox altogether? Not sure why it even exists, but when training new people on how to run the system, this little checkbox confuses EVERYONE and simply gets in the way.

I agree this would be a much better spot for the Access Permissions and anything to simplify the profile page is helpful.

I think this would be a big improvement. Typically setting up the account, assigning volunteer roles, and assigning access permissions all go hand-in-hand.
It's not uncommon for us to accidentally miss one of the steps (either assigning the role or assigning the access permission), because of it being a two-step process, rather than being on a single page.
