Report on Last Service attended

I would like the ability to be able to generate a report that shows the last date people attended a service. My suggestion would be to add it to the Built-In Report "Service Individual Attendance" as a check box "Show Date of Last Attendance".

Hi Stewart, any updates on this one? I am using the Service Individual attendance report to see which connect group leaders attended or did not attend the last 3 leaders gatherings. This report would be perfect if there was an option to only export people who are leaders or assistant leaders for groups. However it brings up the whole church in the export. I understand that people may want to see only who attended a service, but I believe it may be more beneficial to know who did not attend. Right now there is no way of finding which people from the list are group leaders. Any feedback would be appreciated. It is a very manual process to create this report right now.

Stewart Polley Just wondering if there has been any update on this? Like Amee Glass, I regularly create a report of people not attending, however it is currently very time consuming! Both built in and a display field would be very handy.

I am anxiously waiting for this feature. Every fortnight I prepare a reported of people who haven't attended for 4 weeks so that they can be considered for pastoral care needs. It would be so helpful to have "last attended' available in this report, instead of having to look up each person's profile, to find this information.

Quick question for everyone - would you rather a built in report for this (as EmJay has mentioned) or would you rather this as a display field that could be used for all reports, or even both?
I see the benefit of a display field being that it can be used in all custom reports, and any built-in report that allows "Additional People Columns" but the downside being that you won't (currently) be able to filter the services used to calculate the date, so it will just be whatever the last service was period.
Where as a built in report would let you get a bit more detailed, such as going "Last service of this particular service type" or "Last service at this location" etc (or both) but won't let you mass manage/contact the people right now.

Stewart Polley: I would like all data in Elvanto to be searchable, reportable and also available as a display field. It's frustrating to have to go to different places to get different information and there's not always an apparent logic to what is available as a display field or can be found using advanced search, or found in a report (either built-in or custom).

Stewart Polley: I agree with Amee that a display field that can be used in all reports would be ideal. I would be looking to use this field to pull up everyone in a particular group for example and be able to see the last time they attended.

Stewart Polley: Is there any update on this since all of this was talked about over a year ago? I would absolutely love to be able to have any of my custom reports display "Date of Service Last Attended" as well as "Date of Group Last Attended."

It would be great to have a new field in People's Advanced Search: Last Scheduled Date (any service and position). It would allow us to get all inactive volunteers from our database. :-)

I would like to see this as well as "date last attended" a specific group. We use group reports to show people who have not attended a that group 2 or more weeks. But there's no way to show the actual last attendance date in the report.
