Secondary Email Address

In our church some people have an oggicial "internal" mail address that they use when they are writing/receiving mails in their special role within the church. We need to set these addresses as secondary mail addresses in the person dataset, so that every other church member can choose to contact this person either via his/her private mail address or via the secondary/official mail address.
I know that I can set up a custom field for this, but I think there is no way to use this field dirextly as an email addressee.
A custom field type "email" would be nice that automatically has the funtion to send an email to.

Does anyone know if the ability to add secondary email addresses was ever completed? I have numerous people in our church who utilize 2 email accounts and have requested it. Thanks

I just checked back on this. Would it be possible for someone from Tithely/Elvanto to at least provide some type of feedback other than just merging in other requests. I'm sorry to sound so critical but I've dealt with this with other organizations before. These feeds seem to be a place to allow people to post requests but then never get tended to. I've had more people since my post almost 3 months ago ask to have an additional email and I have to continue telling them we cannot. It should just be a simple additional field, I would think.

One of the things I've noticed that makes this important is the from address in emails. Right now, as far as I can tell, I can only use my email address (since I can only have 1...) or ones setup as system address. But if I could have multiple email addresses, is be able to choose and maybe even set one up as my default from in the ChMS, even if it wasn't my primary.

Please add a 2nd email field to allow automatic elvanto emails to be sent to 2 email addresses. This would then be used to email a Youth Service Team member a Roster for example AND send the email to their Parents also. This way Elvanto could be used to send emails to Children/Youth. At present without this feature, it is not appropriate

We save High Schoolers with their own email, and have a field in their profile for "Parent Email".
When clicking "Contact", it would help to be able to select "based on [parent email] field" as this is far more straight forward than manually creating unnamed contacts for the parents of every high schooler who ever attends our program.

I would find this SO helpful as the super admin - I have my personal email address in Elvanto so that people can contact me about personal (not work) things, but would love all Elvanto/work related things (& replies to automated emails) to go to my work email rather than personal email.

I can see the benefit of this. I would hope it doesn't introduce confusion though. For now we ask that our team members with church email accounts use this for any and all church related communications instead of their personal.
