Super Admins: Logging / history function

It would come very handy if super admins had the ability to see a log / history of changes in the database:
Who did which change when? This could be limited to, say, 30 days in the past.
So a super admin could see: - Who deleted or changed a specific room reservation?- Who changed a person's data? What and when did s/he change it?- and so on
This could help to find changes made in error (and undo them), and who perhaps needs some help.

This is a critical feature for security auditing.

I'm currently troubleshooting an issue with the Mailchimp integration and really could use this function to narrow down when a specific change had been made by someone other than myself.

Seems like time and time again i am looking for this information to help us narrow down a training issue, etc. Can we please get this added?

Hi ! Having a such a logging / history function would help me a lot ! Hope this feature can be developped in the future.

I would really love this functionality too. As the database administrator, it would be really helpful to be able to monitor the changes that others make so that any mistakes can be picked up. It would be great if this could cover changes on pages and to service plans.

I think we've also mentioned this to Stewart and Ben in a round about way with our previous GDPR discussions, but just to add our support for this request.
The lack of a really robust 'change log' and the ability to see who actually made a change for some things, which is currently the case for some changes (or even run an appropriate report to show these things) can be really frustrating at times!
We've partially got around it with a Slack integration and the API but it's less than ideal as we need to monitor it all the time.
Hopefully something can be done in this area sometime.
Thanks,
Alastair :)

Hi, Alastair,
thanks fpr the support. in our "old" church database we had this funxtion, at least for changes to a person:
You could see who has done which change and when, and with a click on the green round arrow you as an administrator could revert this change.
But a simple log file just to see the changes would do ...

Hand in hand with logging, we would also like to see some summary analytics so that we can regularly measure engagement by volunteers and congregants with Elvanto.
