Historical Log of Account Changes

It would be extremely helpful for the admins to have a visual behind the scenes as to who modified donor giving profile. I have another donor who says they didn't set up a 2nd recurring gift. I'm at a loss how to explain if they did it or how did it happen. Donors get frustrated when there are duplicate deductions from their account and then they choose to discontinue Tithely which defeats the purpose.

Better Custom View on Transactions Log

It would be nice to be able to edit the default view of the columns instead of having to create a custom view. Currently, I have to toggle to my view every time I log in when I would rather just save over the default columns.

Add Notifications Not Just Summary

It would be nice to have a notification section on the website so that when I log in I can go there and see any activity associated with my account. Like having a ping for each time someone gave and their contact info so we can reach out.

Please send emails out if you change how to do something or how information is acquired. For instance, I used to be able to click on Deposits, then click on download CSV to get a detailed report of all info pertaining to that deposit. You changed it so you have to go through a few extra steps to get that same report but did not notify that you had done so. I had to email support and before I received a response, figured it out for myself, but it took about a half hour to do so. An email notifying of the change would have been great.

Hi Sue! Thanks so much for reaching out. We are planning out this option!

I agree!
Also on the transactions page, I don't have that many columns checked but still always have to scroll to the right to see everything. This could easily be solved if the first and last names were just one column and there wasn't so much default space between columns. (Or if the column widths were editable from the title row)

Hi Kaden,
As of now the transactions page will default to the previous log in based on the organization. And then we have the ability to save views that you can toggle as you mentioned. I definitely understand the want to save clicks and the repeated process you mentioned can be tedious. We are always looking for opportunities to improve our products and we love Canny for comments like yours. We take note of all Canny comments and then continue to watch the posts as additional votes and comments raise them up the board.
Thanks so much for your time to post and please continue to add any more feature update requests you may have!

Kasey Cullom: Hi Kasey! I would love to chat about your first sentence. Unfortunately, my Transactions page always defaults to the original view (not my saved custom view) each time that I open the window.

Kaden Bower: I also am having this same issue. Whenever I open the Transactions page, it shows the original view instead of my saved custom view. We only have one campus, so the "Location Name" is totally unnecessary.

this would be so very helpful and simplify management of incoming emails.

Notification for donations received

Get a notification every-time somebody gives.

Yes, please! A notification would help for so many reasons. For instance, it is difficult to identify a new recurring donor bc there isn't a time stamp for when they set it up. (Only the date designated to process) As mentioned below a notification would also help us communicate to missionaries when people have donated to them so they can personally thank them.
