Improve the Add Gift experience
under review

Currently, a donor who desires to give to multiple funds is required to create and sign in to their account. However, we have received donor feedback that this requirement is not made clear to first-time Tithe.ly users. The user must be signed in to even see that there exists an “Add Gift” option on the form. Therefore, I suggest one of the following changes be implemented:
Option #1: Remove this requirement, allowing users to give to multiple funds without signing in to an account. (This would be my preference, if possible.)
Option #2: Show the “Add Gift” button, but set it to be disabled until the user signs in to their account. Also, add an information button to the right of the disabled “Add Gift” button (similar to “Remember Me”). When a user clicks or hovers over the information button, then show some text stating that users must create and sign in to a free Tithe.ly account to enable the option.

Add "add gift" to non-logged in form to encourage account creation

Understanding that multiple gifts are only available to users who are logged in, there is currently no way for someone to know that multiple gifts/funds is an option.
For usability, and to encourage guests to create an account (or users to log in), we would like to see the current/standard "+" button added to the non-logged-in form. When selected, it would alert, "please log in or create an account to give to multiple funds".
This would encourage non-logged-in users to log in and give in proper categories (rather than alternatives like typing the designations into a memo field), and would also incentivize guests to create an account with us.

Can you please change the "+" icon to words of some sort to avoid confusion. Something like "Add Another Fund". I keep having everyone only chose "Tithes" for instance and they put in the notes to give so much here, and so much there. They do not know what the "+" means or do not notice it. It causes a lot of confusion when trying to break out the fees.

Additional Gifts for logged out / one-time givers

The option to add a gift is only available after someone gave already, and has an account .this is especially bad for the kiosk, and for visitors who'd like to give to more than one causes.

Add words “Add Gift” to plus sign

On my version of the app, the words “Add Gift” do not appear by the + sign... I thought it was graphic design to separate info. Meanwhile, I asked support to help about giving to multiple funds. It’s in the pic that the support folks sent me. Not sure why it doesn’t show up on mine. Thanks!

Add Multiple Give To options to website form
L
Linda Nielsen
We have multiple giving types in our Tithe.ly account.
A member goes to our website and presses the green "Give" button and the form opens up. In the top line of the form is a field "Give to:"
If someone gives $100 and
• they want $50 to go to general fund and
• $50 to go to building fund,
it only allows them to select one "Give To" option. So they are left with recording the options in the memo/notes section.
If you are logged in and are giving via your website or a tithely app, you can split your donation amongst two "Give To:" options.
Can you please add this same capability to the form?

When logged into any Tithe.ly giving page on desktop or mobile, the "add a fund" button is half cut off/obscured by the payment method field.
A few of our donors have commented that they can't seem to find where to add multiple funds to the same giving transaction because of this UI bug. Is there some way to make this button more visible/prominent?

Hi Linda Nielsen! This is available for donors when they are logged in on the website as well. We'll be looking into expanding this functionality to donors that do not log in.
