Move "Cover Fees" Up on Giving Form

My church just signed up for Titthe.ly 2 weeks ago. All is going well for us. I have a suggestion regarding the app design, though. Many of my people wanted to cover the fees. However, they did not see the "cover fees" box because they did not scroll down - nor did they have to scroll down. I would like to suggest that you move that box up to where the recurring gift box is to make it more visible. Or, you could adjust the app to automatically scroll down once an amount is entered so the contributor could see the "cover fees" box. Another possibility might be a second-level pop-up that asks that question about covering fees before proceeding.
I still think simply moving the box up higher could be beneficial. As it is, many of our people who wanted to cover fees didn't see how to to that because the box is all the way at the end. They will know next time, but this could be an ongoing issue for many. I realize we could "require" the contributor to pay the fees, but we feel it would be best to leave this as optional. It just needs to be more visible.

Your donation page is too small to see the memo and cover fees fields. You need to display them without the having to scroll down to see them. The first action after you enter in your credit card info. is to select the give button. The memo and cover fees fields should be placed above the credit card field.

Cover Fee option

It would be helpful for us if there was a more prominent option for us to Strongly encourage or require the donor to cover the fee for us. The current option is not strong enough and it is costing us significant funds. We may need to explore another vendor

I've noticed, most of the online giving doesn't cover the fee. People I've talked to don't even see the option to cover the fee, mostly because it's such a small field and is below the main portion of the screen on phones.
I don't think the few dollars we would get from the small online presence we have will make a massive difference in our account, but I think it would make a huge difference in people's attitude toward tithing in general (covering the fee I think reveals something about the heart of the giver).
Maybe an updated version down the line could make this option a bit more noticeable?
God bless, Joseph.

Yes we have the same comments from our congregation. Great idea!

You could have it checked by default and they can uncheck it if they don't want to cover.

Well said. I created our account for FBC Pine Prairie and I even missed the box my first time using it.

Yes this could definitely be better. I have situations for donations to memorials. I have one generic fund and I ask the person giving to enter the person in the memo field. Unfortunately, this field is hard to find.

Thanks for the feedback David Greene. We know that the cover the fees option is one feature that attracts people to our platform. We'll look into ways to making it more prominent in the future.
