We would desperately like to have a report where we can get the Net Giving Summary. Allow us to select the date range we need.
This is especially needed so that we can credit the correct funds of the church (i.e. Tithe, youth, Missions, etc.). this report also needs a way of recording the memo field, as some people give to special funds outside the regular funds and we need to find that.
thanks

Hi all! This year, we have launched a report that includes Net Giving. I am going to move this feedback to Completed. You can see this within the 2.0 space by running a filter and clicking Summary Report.
However, I know people have had some other requests associated with reporting. Please create a new feedback entry or up vote an existing feedback entry if your request is not resolved by this update.
Thank you all for your continued support and feedback!

You should check out reports for fund accounting. PushPay and SecureGive are prime examples of giving sites with good fund reports.
Tithely does not seem to understand the reporting side for accountants.

As Joseph Ranney stated (and many others), on the Deposit Email, it should be broken down by Fund.
Only one person in our church knows who gives what amount, there should be a selection on the user's page for selecting who has access to that info only. Our treasurer needs to know deposits and fund giving amount, not who gave how much. Maybe add a Treasurer role that receives an email with deposit amounts, by fund also.

We have to work too hard to obtain a useable report from Tithe.ly for financials.

Hi, your new reports look great, but they are still not accomplishing what we really need. Could we please have a breakdown by fund in the deposit emails? On the emails as well as on the reports would greatly benefit us - being able to download a summary by fund per deposit date - or at least have the breakdown in the email. Not everyone in the church needs to know all the details of who gave what. Some accounting folks just need to know the fund breakdown per deposit so we can get these numbers into our books and they don't necessarily need or want to see giving detail on individuals. 'Course in some churches it may be fine, but in others there may be division of labor, so if a role could be tied to being able to only see fund break-downs and not all individual details, it would be best. "Let not your right hand know what your left hand is doing" as our Lord said. Thank you for all you do for our church communities!

Joseph Ranney: I agree that there needs to be more information on the emailed report. Besides the confidentiality that you mention adding the information (Gross, Net, Fees, Funds) would mean less work for the accounting folks as all the info they need to process the deposit would be in one place.

Summary Report without Fees by Giving Type

On Summary Report, want to see the amounts of giving in each category without the "fees" in the totals? Or at least another Column that totals the total Tithes, total offereing, total (insert fund here) without the Fees. For example, two someones gave $100 tithes, and $100 dollars in General Offereing, but it shows on the summary report as 206.40 and $206.40 in the report instead of $200 in each. Without going through each individual donation and adding manually.
Exporting the CSV doesnt total either without a formula.

An update was pushed up for the Summary Report that displays the total fees and total net. While this does not cover all the requests around the net giving report, hopefully this helps.

Adam Barry: So... are you saying that there is a download CSV of the net giving Deposit Summary, similar to your download CSV of the Deposit Transaction Details?
Adam Barry
Daniel Colantonio: This update was only for the Summary Report that is available on the Giving Statements page. We currently don't have a CSV export for just a deposit summary. A full detail of the deposit can be exported to the CSV or the summary section in the deposit details can be printed off

Adam Barry: To get the fund info I need, I would have to print 6-10 sheets per day for a deposit's full detail. You guys really need to provide a report feature for the accounting side of church reporting. How about adding a filter for FUNDS to the Bank Deposits Report?

Show Net Amount instead for total in giving statements

Bowen Chin
I would like to suggest adding the "Net Amount" for the Amount in the giving statements. The reason for this is because someone might give $10, but without them covering the fees, in actuality we are only receiving $7+ after fees are deduced. This would help our record keeping needs. Thanks!
Adam Barry
Bowen Chin we show the net amount in the giving statement view and deposit view. Is there another place you are talking about?
B
Bowen Chin
Adam Barry: Yes, the net amount is shown in the giving statement view. However, the net amount is not shown in the PDF summary statement. It shows the amount given, but without showing the net amount given in the summary pdf statement. This is needed for our needs since we use these receipt statements for financial record keeping.

Adam Barry: might i also suggest the net amount would show in the giving statements export for transactions that don't have fees (cash or check for example). Right now when the export happens, the net amount is just blank, which makes it challenging to run reporting without constantly having to refer to the net amount column for tithely gifts and the full amount column for non-tithely gifts
