Make incomplete fields on the giving form more visible
H
Howard Mann
Currently, when the giving form is not filled out correctly the "Give" button at the bottom is grey.
Some of my donors have had trouble giving because it is not clear which fields are incomplete on the giving form.
My request is that when the giving form is incomplete and someone tries to give, it clearly highlights the incomplete fields.

Greyed Out Form for One-Time Donor?
L
Larry Heins
The form is all greyed out giving the impression the form is inactive unless an account is setup first.
Make the entry blanks in the form more black and white so it looks like it is always active.
We don’t like missing a giving opportunity from a one-time donor because the form looks inactive.

Clicking the "remember me" button grays out the donation button

People, especially the aged after filling out the donation form see the "Remember Me" button on the left. So of course they click that. Doing that grays out the finish donating button until you put in (create) a password and pin number. The problem is when you click the remember me button it highlights the password box with a light brown border, and also does not highlight the pin box, until you click that, which turns on a green border. This is confusing to many people and so they give up trying to donate after clicking and clicking the donate button (which is grayed out now). So we either miss out on a donation or they end up calling us to help them. What you should do is when they click the remember me button, make it highlight the password and pin boxes with a bright RED color, both. And/or when they click it a bubble (like when you hover a mouse over) pops up that says you must make a password and pin in order for the system to remember your details. And if you don't want to have it remember you then click the remember button again to turn it off. Then the donate button will be green to complete the donation.

Yes, I've had the same problem. Two people in our church (both people in their 60s but relatively comfortable with computers) commented that the form was confusing for them. A clear indication of which field is missing would certainly help.
