Giving App

In the App, there is a "Backdate" option for donations (which I find pretty useless, except for personal records of donors). However, a "Postdate" option would be VERY useful. For example, if a person wants to make a donation now to make sure she doesn't forget, but she knows that her pay check is coming in only three days later, it would be nice for that person to setup the gift with a date in the future. This option exists of course for recurring gifts, but it would be great to have it also for One time donations. Since there is already a calendar in the App for backdates, this same calendar could be used to set a date in the future - so I don't think it would require much to add that feature. Thanks!

The new giving app sends someone to a built in "thanks" message. We would like to be able to customize that like we can the receipt email.

Can you please explain why the app no longer allows for adding giving to more than one category of funds? The only way to give to multiple categories is to do separate gifts which is double the work. This is going to have an impact on people that give to multiple areas if they have to do separate giving for each item. If I had realized that this was changed, I would not have updated the app and will certainly tell my congregation to not update it until this is fixed. The new app is nice, but only uses the one logo we can upload for giving. This one doesn't fit into the circle the app allows for. It would be nice to be able to customize the logo and provide a circle-appropriate one for the giving app.

When signing up for an account, we could not set the last name without going to settings and reducing the system font size.

Find as you type, sorting by nearest location, is a critical need. Also, the search needs to be more flexible: if the user types one word wrong, or uses an abbreviation when the church name is spelled out, they can't find it at all.
