the import of tithe data failed to recognize that when a covered contribution is made that the amount that needs to be imported is the original gross amount from the donor since the donor is covering the fee. additionally the donor's name needs to entered into the "received from" field or the "description" field.

When someone makes a pledge, the integration with Elvanto should allow the pledge to automatically be added to Elvanto.

I was asked by Support to send in these suggestions: "I was very excited to see the new QBO integration but there are several issues with the options for setting it up. If you choose a Sales Receipt (by transaction) then it creates a Sales Receipt that deducts the fee right on the same transaction. The result is that a donation does not show as the full donation in the donor record in QuickBooks. There is nowhere to choose a Class allocation for the transactions. Most nonprofits and many churches require a Class to be allocated to each transaction for tracking of the 3 functional categories for the IRS. (Program, Admin & Fundraising) This is small but when choosing the QuickBooks account for mapping of individual funds, your drop down box shows all inactive/deleted accounts as well as active accounts. It seems that the option to have a deposit transferred instead of a Sales Receipt may be helpful for some organizations.

It seems we aren't able to map giving types that come from Tithe.ly Events unless someone has already registered. Would be nice to be able to map those ahead of time to QBO accounts.

The option to include a memo line is worthless for those using the ChMS for donor management. Churches often need to set up a one time giving account for a project. I can set an "Other" account on the giving widget and include a memo line. However, when I got into Elvanto, the transaction only shows " tithe.ly " on the memo line. This is disappointing, because it requires counters to have to learn how to use both the ChMS as well as tithe.ly giving portals.
